Car Dealer Software Reviews: Scan Data + Verified Ratings

DealerSignals publishes dealer software reviews backed by two sources most review sites don’t have: real market share data from 1,414 scanned dealer websites, and verified ratings from G2 and Capterra. Here’s what that combination reveals about the platforms dealers actually choose.

How our reviews work

Most dealer software review sites either rely on vendor-submitted information or collect reviews from whoever fills out a form. DealerSignals combines two independent data sources:

Scan-based adoption data — we detect what software is actually running on dealer websites. If a vendor claims 10,000 dealer customers but appears on 2% of scanned sites, that gap is meaningful. Market presence data can’t be faked.

Verified third-party ratings — we aggregate verified reviews from G2 and Capterra. Vendors cannot pay for higher ratings or better placement. A 2.7-star rating is a 2.7-star rating regardless of advertising spend.
